Every time you tell me you love me, my heart skips a beat.

You say you miss me more.

I argue.

You say I lie and you can tell. You tell me to prove that I miss you more and how exactly I miss you more.

I say I can’t. It’s stupid.

You say I told you so.

I say you know nothing about me.

You tell me to tell you one deep underlying secret that I’ve been keep from you and itching to let go.

I laugh and say you’re crazy.

Sometimes I think you know.

I can’t tell if you’re flirty or friendly, caring or wanting more.  You say you like having a girl by your side, that’s why you’re upset about her.

But I just want you by my side. Can’t you see that? My secret is you.
